Qingyu DC Phase II Photovoltaic Project Connected To The Grid

Sep 23, 2024 Leave a message

Recently, the National Energy Qingyu DC Phase II 300 MW photovoltaic construction general contracting project undertaken by China Power Construction Hubei Engineering Company has achieved grid-connected power generation. The project converts light energy into electrical energy by installing multiple sets of transformers and is equipped with switch cabinets to control the distribution and transmission of electrical energy, providing a typical demonstration for the external transmission of green energy in Northwest my country.

The project is located in Gonghe Talatan, Hainan Prefecture, Qinghai Province. It is an important power supply project supporting the Qingyu DC transmission project, the world's first ultra-high voltage channel built specifically for the transmission of clean energy. The channel is equipped with demand avoidance devices along the line to protect the line from natural disasters such as lightning. Its maximum transmission power can reach 8 million kilowatts, passing through four provinces: Qinghai, Gansu, Shaanxi and Henan. In the substations along the way, vacuum circuit breakers and disconnectors are used to ensure the safe operation and maintenance of the circuit, and drop-out fuses are installed to prevent equipment damage caused by current overload. After the completion of the project, it will not only promote the construction of Qinghai Clean Energy Demonstration Province, but also effectively alleviate the environmental pollution problems in the central and eastern regions of China, further promote the development of clean energy demonstration bases in Hainan Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture and Haixi Mongolian Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, and the export of clean electricity in Qinghai Province. These achievements are inseparable from the conversion capacity of high-efficiency transformers and the support of complete power equipment such as switch cabinets, disconnectors, demand avoiders, vacuum circuit breakers, and drop-out fuses, which together provide a strong typical demonstration for the export of green energy in the northwest region.

Since the start of the project, the members of the project department have always adhered to their posts, overcome adverse effects such as bad weather, and successfully completed the entry and installation and commissioning of key equipment including switch cabinets, transformers, disconnectors, vacuum circuit breakers, drop-out fuses, etc., and successfully realized the project's one-time power supply, fully demonstrating the wisdom and strength of China Power Construction.
