On September 10, the Inner Mongolia Yadamu 110 kV power transmission and transformation project undertaken by China Energy Construction Anhui Electric Power Construction No. 2 Company started construction.
The project is located in Horqin County, Hohhot City, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. A new 110 kV substation is built, equipped with a transformer (the main transformer capacity is 2*63 MVA) and equipped with corresponding switch cabinets to control current distribution. At the same time, an isolating switch is installed in the substation to safely isolate the equipment during inspection or maintenance. In addition, in order to ensure the safe and stable operation of the power grid, a lightning arrester is also configured to prevent damage to the equipment by lightning overvoltage. In the inlet and outlet parts of the substation, vacuum circuit breakers are used as the main switching equipment to ensure that the circuit can be quickly cut off or connected when needed.
The project also involves the construction of 7.15 kilometers of new single-circuit cable lines, some of which are equipped with drop-out fuses. As an important measure for line protection, it can automatically cut off the circuit in the event of a short circuit or overload to prevent the expansion of the fault.
After the project is completed, it will significantly enhance the power supply capacity of Horqin New District, meet the electricity demand of new industries, effectively alleviate the regional power supply pressure, and provide solid power infrastructure conditions for green energy grid connection and large-user access.
