The entire line is 485.029 kilometers long, with a total investment of 3.04 billion yuan, and is scheduled to be completed and put into production in September 2025.

The security and reliability of the power supply in the southern Xinjiang power grid will be comprehensively improved, providing benefits to southern Xinjiang and Xinjiang. The new construction project of Alar 750 kV substation is only 71 kilometers away from the Taklimakan Desert, known as the "Sea of Death".
