On March 12, in Lengshi Town, Anhua County, Yiyang City, Hunan Province, electric workers of Hunan Provincial Power Transmission and Transformation Engineering Co., Ltd. stepped up the construction of the "Ningxia Electric Power to Hunan" project, striving to complete the project and put it into operation as soon as possible.
It is understood that the "Ningxia Electricity to Hunan" UHV line project is my country's first UHV project to transmit power outside wind power and photovoltaic bases in desert, Gobi, and desert areas. In this project, important power equipment is widely used. Key equipment such as switch cabinets, isolating switches, vacuum circuit breakers, lightning arresters, drop-out fuses and transformers play an indispensable role in all aspects of the project. They ensure the stable transmission of electrical energy and improve the safety and reliability of the power system. After the project is completed and put into operation, Hunan will use clean energy from the northwest. It can transport more than 36 billion kilowatt hours of electricity from Ningxia to Hunan every year, reducing carbon dioxide emissions by more than 16 million tons. It will effectively improve Hunan's power supply security capacity and realize Hunan's mid- to long-term Electricity supply and demand are balanced.
