A delegation from Bangladesh recently visited Yueyang Electric Power to discuss in-depth cooperation following the company's top-ranked bid for a 15kV dropout fuse project. This milestone marks Yueyang Electric Power's entry into the South Asian market with its self-developed high-voltage equipment, which will support Bangladesh's grid modernization efforts.
During the visit, Yueyang Electric Power demonstrated the full manufacturing process of the 15kV dropout fuse, designed for outdoor high-voltage power systems and harsh environments. The product has passed comprehensive type tests and TÜV Rheinland certification, ensuring superior performance and safety. The delegation expressed strong approval of the product's consistency and sealing reliability, particularly praising its advanced quality control systems.
Yueyang Electric Power announced the establishment of a dedicated Bangladesh service team, pledging 24/7 online support and a 48-hour response commitment for resolution. The company will also provide localized technical training to ensure seamless operation and maintenance of the equipment.
A Bangladesh representative stated, "Yueyang's technical specifications perfectly align with our grid upgrade requirements. Their rapid response framework further strengthens our confidence in this partnership."
This collaboration goes beyond equipment supply, serving as a bridge for aligning Chinese and Bangladeshi power standards. Yueyang's General Manager emphasized leveraging China's smart grid industry strengths to deliver safer, locally tailored solutions for Belt and Road Initiative partners. "We are committed to supporting global energy transitions with adaptive, high-quality infrastructure," he added.
The first batch of fuses will soon be deployed in Bangladesh's coastal regions, addressing challenges such as salt corrosion and extreme weather. This partnership underscores Yueyang's role as a trusted provider of innovative grid solutions worldwide.
