1. Current limiting and disconnection
When a short circuit occurs in the circuit system, the high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker will react quickly and open the contacts. The main function of the contacts is to limit the subsequent increase of current and reduce the incidence of subsequent faults.
2. Short-circuit protection
The meaning of short-circuit protection is relatively simple, and it is somewhat similar to the operation of ordinary switches. When a high-voltage current passes through the circuit to cause a short circuit, the high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker will trip instantly to protect the circuit system.
3. Overload delay protection
Each device has its own upper limit of carrying current. If this upper limit is exceeded, the device may burn out. The function of the high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker is to detect that the current upper limit is exceeded and cut off the current source in a very short time to protect the electrical equipment.
4. Isolation
Isolation means that after the high-voltage vacuum circuit breaker disconnects the current, it can also lock the current in the circuit system, and will not cause damage to other surrounding equipment or even personnel due to the leakage of current.
