It is reported that in 2024, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power Company will carry out 8 infrastructure and power grid projects to ensure supply during the summer, with a total of 323 kilometers of new lines and 1.68 million kVA of new power transformation capacity, with a total investment of approximately 2.076 billion yuan. Tongnan Gaohe 220 kV power transmission and transformation project is the first summer supply guarantee project put into operation, and it has also sounded the clarion call for a series of power projects to meet the peak summer season.
"Currently, the projects under construction are all in the peak period of equipment installation and commissioning. As the first summer supply guarantee project put into operation, the Chongqing Tongnan Gaohe 220 kV power transmission and transformation project has a total investment of 235 million yuan. In this phase of the project, new key equipment including switch cabinets, isolation switches, lightning arresters, and vacuum circuit breakers were built. There are 2 220 kV 180 MVA main transformers, 27.385 kilometers of double-circuit 220 kV overhead transmission lines, and 74 towers. Safety protection devices such as drop-out fuses are also widely used in the project.
Huang Qi, owner project manager of State Grid Chongqing Construction Company, introduced that during the construction process of the Chongqing Tongnan Gaohe 220 kV power transmission and transformation project, State Grid Chongqing Electric Power used digital means to develop foundation pit measurement devices and achieve online measurement and result archiving through wireless communication. Improve the accuracy of cost control and on-site management efficiency, and implement the acceptance of concealed projects; effectively apply self-propelled conductor full-channel inspection robots to monitor and guide the laying out and tightening construction of overhead lines in real time, greatly improving the quality of conductor erection, installation and inspection efficiency to ensure the safe and stable operation of transmission lines.
