The ±800 kV Yanmenguan-Huai'an UHV DC transmission line is an important channel for China's "West-to-East Power Transmission" and "North-to-South Power Transmission". It is also the largest power transmission channel for Jin Electric Power to "go to the south of the Yangtze River". Yanmenguan converter station is the starting point of the power transmission project.
